Children’s Wish Foundation

Since granting the first wish-come-true in 1984, the Children’s Wish Foundation has created joyful experiences for more than 25,000 children coping with a life-threatening illness. As the country’s largest and only all-Canadian wish-granting charity, they create joyful experiences that profoundly impact the lives of more than 1,000 children every year. Derek Marshall and the team at Interex Systems do their part by providing a yearly monetary donation to the Children’s Wish Foundation and are truly Wish Heroes. Donate today!

Mount Pearl Scouting

Scouts Canada provides children and youth with exciting experiences and opportunities that they wouldn’t have elsewhere – and to help them reach their full potential as good citizens and leaders for tomorrow. In Mount Pearl alone, there are over 250 youth involved in scouting, not including all the adults that donate their time and effort. Interex Systems has helped scouting in our province with a donation of time and expertise for repairs to Camp Morristown.

Carpenter Millwright College

The Carpenter Millwright College has been established to provide practical training to those seeking employment in the construction trades. Their experienced instructors place an emphasis on delivering industry-approved programs and certifications that give students the skills required in today’s residential, commercial, and industrial construction sectors. In 2015 Derek Marchall created the Interex Bursary, a $1000 yearly award given to one student from the first year class.

A Dollar A Day

Mental illness is the leading cause of disability in Canada and a leading cause of death among many segments of our population. And it’s growing. The A Dollar A Day Foundation exists to raise funds to close the gap between the availability of front line mental health and addictions programs and the growing need.

Derek, your decision to donate $10,000 to A Dollar A Day and Share the Change for Mental Health is appreciated. You are making a difference. Collectively and equally we are all contributing to frontline programs that help more people who can lead healthy productive lives get on their road to recovery that much faster.
